You can make 1 or 2 cups of espresso, cappuccino or latte, and there are special filter baskets (1 or 2 cups, ESE pods), which are 'crema enhanced'. It has a separate water reservoir, which can be removed. The filter part of the Krups XP2070 has an aroma and strength selector, hot plate and drip-stop system, so you can remove the coffee pot at any time, even during the brewing process. The glass graduated carafe is also dishwasher safe.
